Prairie Beauty

Pink clouds hung over the east fields just at sunset this evening and only for a few minutes, turning everything pink. Even the air turned pink. My goodness, after I said it was sometimes hard to find beauty on the prairie, there is this!

Now, how can I create this in yarn and fibers? That's always the question, isn't it?

Wooly how can you say there is no beauty in the Praires? You can alwasy look to nature, every cloud is different every grain of sand every minute detsil. That really is a stunning sunset. AND so ahrd to catch so well on film. I find soemthign that looks superb like this does in real life lacks lustre when I photogrpah it but not this one!!

The only way I can think ot cpatue that transcendental nature in fibre is with fleting as you would have the blended soft lines.

What do you think?

I can just imagine those colours translated into soft Shetland type wools, a throw, or a big scarf?

What a wonderfully colourful sky. It's very dull and cloudy here. I just peeped at your previous blog and I love your products.

That is a beautiful sky! Let's see, if you carded together some blues, some gray shades, some pinks...it would be interesting to try!

What a gorgeous picture! I wish we had evening skies like that here! We are cloudy in the morning and cloudy at night, with the sun blocked out. Clear in the afternoons, though, so at least there's that!
